Hey guys,
Sorry this is about 23 hours belated! I’ve been running into some rough computer problems lately, so things are taking me a little bit longer than usual. (Not to mention, Frankie keeps trying to steal my supper!)
Only a few things to report this week. Namely that I’ve been spending a lot of time at the doctor lately, and that you lovely internet nerds bailed me out of a tough financial spot yet again! I cannot express how much I love you guys for it, and I’m trying to get as many comics up as frequently as a can, for as long as I can in order to make it up to you.
The other bit of amazing news I have for you guys is that I have artwork featured in Mike Rouse-Dean’s semi-annual webcomics calendar for the upcoming 2010 year! I’ve always wanted to put together a calendar of my comic characters, but have never had the chance; so this was a fun opportunity for me. (Not to mention, I’ve wanted in on one of Mike’s calendars since 2007, so it’s an extra special treat!)
Tastefully Done 2010 includes the likes of Danielle Corsetto, Lem Pew & Aric McKeown, Jess Fink, Guy Hodge, Huw “Lem” Davies, Rasmus Petterson, myself, Frank Page, David Wolfe, Michael Lalonde, James Norris, Jamie Smart and the cover by Krishna Sadasivam.
Each one has painstakingly drawn their webcomic creations in the nude all in aid of Cancer Research UK. Since 2007, both Tastefully Done 2007 and Tastefully Done 2008 has been raising money. Unfortunately 2009 never actually got off the ground but we’re back to celebrate 2010 in all character glory.
The calendars are only $15.99 a pop, and ALL the proceeds go to Cancer research. So that’s pretty terrific. Since I already featured Mike and I in some state of nudity in Big Sexy, I featured Aiden from Primary in my Tastefully Done page (I did July!). I’d highly recommend picking one up!
